In April and May 2021, the Independent Review of Criminal Legal Aid is running several focus groups to gather evidence on different topics.
The review is looking for practitioners across England and Wales working in criminal legal aid, with relevant experience or background on the following topics.
- The impact of COVID-19 on working practices and processes – Tuesday 20 April
- Barriers for women working in criminal legal aid – Wednesday 21 April
- How law firms work within the current market – Wednesday 28 April
- Challenges for BAME practitioners working in criminal legal aid – Wednesday 5 May
