Assistive listening devices are another branch of assistive technology which allow an inclusive approach to education and the workplace by amplifying the sounds in an area (such as a lecture hall or meeting room) to allow the user a fuller range of understanding. The type of tool can vary depending on the specific requirements of the user. We will look at specialist hardware along with some free apps.
