This Aspiring Solicitors event will focus on increasing awareness, understanding and confidence for aspiring solicitors with disabilities, neurodivergence and long-term health conditions.
You can expect this event to be packed full of useful, targeted and inspiring information/advice. There will be several sessions across the day, focusing on the applications process, the mid level and the senior ranks of the profession. There will also be a success stories session and a networking session.
This is an afternoon event, starting at lunchtime and ending in the evening.
To apply for this event, you must:
- Be an Aspiring Solicitors member
- Please note all AS events are for those who are from a group underrepresented in the legal profession and this event focuses on those who have disabilities, long-term health conditions and/or neurodivergence
- Be in any year of study at undergraduate or postgraduate education or be a graduate from university
- Be available to attend the entire event in-person on Tuesday 19 March 2024 (reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed)
- Want to pursue a legal career at an international commercial law firm
- You must not have accepted a training contract with any law firm or legal team
